What are Certification Trainings?

The Certification Trainings of OS Bulgaria are created according to the international standarts for professional test application. They are accredited by the Bulgarian Psychologists Federation.

The content of the courses covers the requirements for obtaining an Eurotest Certificate - EFPA and ISO 10667-1:2011. The Certification Trainings are designed to teach how to work with one or more (see combined trainings) tests.

They consist of 3 modules:

Basic psychometrics- 4 Credits

This module is the same for all certification trainings. When completed once in counts for all other courses. In the module the participants will:

Receive detailed understanding about how psychometric tests are constructed and “work”
Learn how to critically overview of the qualities of tests by using the information about its technical characteristics
Learn how to determine areas for the effective application of a test or its limitations

Duration: 4 hours

Training methods:
• Presentation
• Group work
• Practical training with real data
• Individual work under supervision

Test administration and test result interpretation- 6 Credits

This model is specific for each test. In most cases the participants are required to decide on the test they want to use and to receive a feedback from a qualified consultant/professional. After completing the module the participants will:

Learn how to administrate a test (online, on paper or combination of both)
Receive detailed knowledge about the model/theory on which the test is based
Receive abilities for critical view on the validity of the test protocol
Learn how to interpret the results from various scales
Learn how to interpret the whole profile
Learn how to relate the test results with the competency models of the company/organization

Duration: 6 hours + previous preparation

Training Methods:
- Presentation
- Group work
- Practical exercises with real profiles
- Individual work under supervision

Providing feedback- 2 credits

This module is specific for each test and includes a follow-up real session of feedback giving. After completing the module the participants will:

Learn about the principles and techniques of feedback providing
Learn how to prepare effective feedback session
Learn how to present the test results to the examinee and other parties interested in the result

Duration: 2 hours + follow up work under supervision
